01
From a local idea to a national product
The brief began as a real-estate app for one governorate, with general classifieds planned for later. We recommended designing the geography, categories and marketplace foundations nationally from day one—because retrofitting them after launch would be slower and more expensive.
We delivered the name and identity, an Arabic type system, 38 product screens, a clickable prototype, a marketing site and a developer-ready design package.
02
Arabic-first by construction
Every layout was designed RTL—not mirrored after the fact. Prices and measurements use aligned numerals so dense listing information remains easy to scan.
03
Helping sellers choose a fair price
Mispricing is the costly mistake in any classifieds marketplace. We designed a step that compares the item with sold listings, presents a fair range and expected time to sell, and explains what moves the estimate. It advises without taking control away from the seller.
04
The marketplace, flipped
When search reaches a dead end, Wanted turns it into a request. A buyer posts the item and budget; sellers who have it can respond. The feature creates a useful path where a conventional marketplace would show an empty result.
05
From one listing to a storefront
Dealers and shops receive a branded storefront, bulk-listing tools and analytics. Promotion—not a commission on sales—forms the product's revenue model.
06
One page, one conversion
The marketing site focuses on app downloads and the two ideas that distinguish Bikya: assisted pricing and Wanted. It uses the same design tokens as the product, keeping the brand consistent from campaign to app.
